About Me

Growing up in Chicago (Go Cubs, Go The Bear, Go Ferris Bueller, ), I moved to LA to attend USC’s School of Cinematic Arts. I initially intended to write screenplays, but gradually switched to editing — the two are so similar to me, but I enjoy the visual and rhythmic nature of editing. My first full time job came from cutting trailers, and I’m still convinced they’re a high art form (Academy Museum exhibit pending.) Since then, I’ve edited behind-the-scenes pieces, documentaries, sizzles, digital spots, and music profiles. I’m most interested in non-narrative storytelling focused on sports, queerdom, and music.
